What is Lean Six Sigma Green Belt?
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is a professional certification that recognizes individuals who have an understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies, tools, and techniques. These individuals have a detailed knowledge of the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control (DMAIC) process, and are able to use Lean Six Sigma practices to identify and solve problems in any organization.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belts also have the ability to lead improvement projects and to mentor team members on the use of Lean Six Sigma practices.

0.1: An introduction to the Course
In this opening session, we introduce you to the course, the format, how to navigate your way around and ensure you are ready for the remainder of the course. We will also discuss certification requirements to ensure you are ready to go!
0.2: Benefits of Lean Six Sigma
Learn about what are the benefits of Lean and Lean Six Sigma and how have other world-class organisation used Lean to drive exceptional results. What are the key reasons these companies are successful and how through this training can you begin to apply this knowledge to your career.
0.3: Green Belt Projects
Finally in this session, we help you begin to identify what types of project are the best for running as Green Belts. We look at the tools and prioritisation matrix that can be used to identify the best projects with the largest business impact.

Our onboarding module gives students a comprehensive introduction to Lean Six Sigma and how it works. It provides an overview of the course structure,
certification process, and how to navigate the course.

Furthermore, the module dives into ways to access discussion groups and receive feedback on their progress.
Module 01: What is Lean Thinking
Module 01 is a deep dive into Lean Thinking, covering the key concepts, the philosophy, and Lean tools.
In this section, we begin by exploring what Lean is and what Lean Thinking means both for organisations and for individuals.
As you go through this section, you focus on process thinking, workplace organisation, and begin to identify real-world opportunities for improvement.

Module 02: Define Phase
We start with an introduction to the DMAIC Problem-Solving approach before exploring the various Define phase requirements.
A vast majority of projects fail because they fail to correctly capture what the project is about, what the goal is, and who the customer is.
In this module, we explore how to identify project opportunities, set up projects and project teams, and ensure our process, customer, and stakeholders are aligned.

Module 03: Measure Phase
In this module, we apply the Define phase learnings to measure process performance. We discuss how to choose appropriate measures and use data to understand the baseline performance of our processes.
At the end of this module, you will be able to develop a measurement system that provides an understanding of the current process performance.

Module 04: Analyse Phase
In this module, we explore the analysis of data collected during the Measure phase. We look at graphical and statistical techniques for analysing data and how to use these methods to understand variation in our processes.
You will learn how to draw conclusions from the data and develop hypotheses about the causes of process variation.

Module 05: Improve Phase

At the end of this Module, you will have the tools and techniques to develop an improvement plan and be ready to begin to implement the improvements.

Module 06: Control Phase
In this module, we look at ensuring that our processes continue to perform as expected after improvements have been made. We explore establishing controls, monitoring performance, and developing an effective control process.

Module 07: World of Change
This module is focused on introducing the ideas and concepts behind change management. Change Management is critical for any Lean Practitioner to make lasting change happen.

Module 08: Final Exam
With all the theory and learning behind you, this module includes your final multiple-choice exam.
There are no limits on the number of times you can take the exam, but an 80% pass rate is required.
Module 09: Practical Project
The last module is your opportunity to complete a real-world project with our support, coaching, and mentoring.
You must deliver either a real-world improvement or a simulated example (given by us) to finalize your certification.
You have direct access to your coach and mentor to support you through either the simulated or real-world project.

When you go for a job interview, the real-world experience will make the difference. Our Certification is our recommendation.

How long does the course take?
The online study will take the students between 4 to 6 weeks to complete. There are several assignments. For the full certification, you must complete a real-world Lean Six Sigma project which may take 2 to 8 weeks.
When do I get my Certificate?
The Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certificate is given once you have completed the full course – the online training and the real-life project. If you are unable to complete a real-life project we may offer a simulated project in some circumstances. Please get in touch if you have further questions.
